- Para formar el negativo, interrogativo e interrogativo-negativo de un verbo, tanto regular como irregular, se utiliza did (pasado del verbo to do) + infinitivo del verbo.
You finished Tú terminaste
You did not finish Tú no terminaste
Did you finish? ¿Terminaste tú?
Did you not finish? / Didn't you finish? ¿No terminaste tú?
You ate Tú comistete
You did not eat Tú no comiste
Did you eat? ¿Comiste tú?
Did you not eat? / Didn't you eat? ¿No comiste tú?
- Delante de una pregunta se puede emplear cualquier palabra interrogativa
- Where did you go yesterday?
- When did you open the door?
- What did they do after dinner?
- How did you go to the meeting?
- Why did you eat it?
- Se emplean los siguientes adverbios o frases adverbiales:
Yesterday. Last week. Last year. Last month.
You studied english last year. They played chess here yesterday. - La palabra ago, se coloca al final de la frase: He came a year ago
