Grammar 28: Los indefinidos (adjetivos/pronombres)
- All: todo/a/ os/ as. All the tangerines in the basket are good
- Whole: todo/a. He ate the whole cake because he was very hungry
- Every: cada, todos, todas (en sentido general). Every child must go to school
- Everybody, Everyone: todo el mundo. Everybody (Everyone) is here today
- Everything: todo (todas las cosas). Everything is in the room
- Much: mucho, mucha. There wasn't much sugar in that bowl
- Many: muchos, muchas. There wen't many buses at the door of the hotel
- Several: varios, varias. Several children were playing in the park
- Both: ambos, ambas. Both girls have come
- Some: algo de, algunos (en oraciones afirmativas y en preguntas de ofrecer algo?.
I have some biros. Will you have some cake? Yes, I'll have some
- Somebody, someone: alguien (en afirmativo). Somebody (someone) has been sitting at this table
- Something: algo (en afirmativo. There is something in her bag
- Any: algo de, algunos, algunas (en interrogativo), nada de, ninguno, ningunos, ningunas (en negativo). Is there any coffe in the cup?. There isn't any coffee in the cup. Are there any cars in the car-park?
- Anybody, anyone: alguien (en interrogativo), nadie (en negativo). Was there anybody (anyone) waiting in the hall?. There wasn't anybody (anyone) waiting in the hall
- Anything: algo (en interrogativo), nada (en negativo). Is there anything in her bag?.
There isn't anything in that box
- No: nada de, ningún, ninguna, ningunos, ningunas. There is no water in the tank. There are no books on that shelf
- Nobody, no-one: nadie. There is nobody (no-one) in the street today
- Nothing: nada. There is nothing in the drawer
- None: ninguno, ninguna. Have you any brushes? No, I have none.
- Either: cualquiera de los dos. Either of them can write it. Either boy can write it
- Neither: ninguno de los dos. Neither of them can write it. Neither boy can write it
- Other: otro (pronombre). Toma 's' en plural. Here is one brush, where is the other?
otros (adjetivo). Show me other biros
- Another: otro. Sólo en singular. Give me another biro
- Each: cada uno, cada. Each of the pupils in this class has an english dictionary.

- Such: tal. I've never seen such films. Tan. I've never seen such a long film
- Little: poco. There is very little chalk in the drawer
- Few: pocos. There were very few buses in the street last night
- One: uno. One can never be sure
